I am heartbroken for you both and Jonathon. His time with us has made a huge impact and helped me to have a different outlook on life. Jonathon will forever be in my thoughts.
The three of you are an inspiration on what love, strength and a believe in God truly are. May God's newest Angel remain a source of strength and love for you. Forever in our thoughts and prayers.
A wonderful gift is to love and be loved in return. Jonathon's spirit is as free as a dove and his love for you is Eternal.
John 14 2-3 "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may also be."
We love you very much. Sweet Jonathon has changed our lives forever.
Steven & Becky, My heart goes out to you both at this extremely hard time. The Lord puts us all on earth for a reason and takes us back to his home when he feels we have accomplished what he put us here to do. Little Prince Jonathon had a very special meaning for many many people. Now he is in the arms of the Lord where he is not hurting and he is a PERFECT little angel. He has many family members to take care of him until you all meet again. I wish there was a way to stop the hurt your family is going through right now. Love to you all, Aunt Sandi & family
We are friends of Brenda who have watched your blog for every ray of hope, and we have been blessed to see how much you all are loved. Your baby is whole, perfect, and at peace in the arms of Jesus now. All things work together for good for those who love the Lord. His will and His timing are perfect. Though you may not feel it right now, you too will know the peace that comes from time and the support of friends and family.
My wife and I experienced a very similar loss almost 12 years ago. There are no words that can take away your pain right now. Just know that my wife and I are thinking of you and share in your grief. We are truly sorry for your loss and I'm sure that the "little prince" will live in your memory forever.
I am so sorry. I can't come up with anything profound or inspirational to say to try to help, but if I may, I would like you to know this:
I would like to think that what is most important in our time on earth, is how we impact other peoples lives, both negatively and positively. Are we helping or hurting those around us? JJ's +/- rating is off the charts. In his short time here, he, (AND you two) have reminded 100's of people what is most important in life, and Ya'lls bravery, courage and love has sincerely been an inspiration to so many people. More people than you guys will ever know about. JJ's blog has been SO important, we have been so blessed by it and he is continuing to touch peoples hearts by the friends and family who have forwarded JJ's Blog to others. JJ made a huge impact on me in a very positive way. I pray that God will bless you all and ease your comfort soon.
Becky and Stephen- What a wonderful picture of the prince, thank you for sharing it with everyone. Just know that I am thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. You did everything right, and did all that you could- keep that in your heart. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it. It just may not be as smooth of a path as we would like. Take care and know that if you need anything, there are tons of friends you can ask- any of us would be honored. Ami G
What a beautiful boy. Who is now being held in the arms of Our Heavenly Father. I am so thankful to hear of his and your story and the time however brief that you shared. It touched my heart.I will pray for Johnathan, and for the two of you that the Lord's grace and comfort be with you all.
I just learned of this blog on Friday 12/07, and I sat down on this Sunday 12/09 and I read from start to finish. Stephen and Becky, you give new meaning to the words strength and character. I am in awe of how you both handled this very difficult situation. Through the pain, sadness and grief you have earned new degrees of wisdom. Although Jonathon never uttered a word, he spoke volumes to many. The courage he displayed during his 23 days is unmatched by some lifetimes. The three of you have profoundly affected me and given me new perspective.
I am heartsick at the loss of your Little Prince. God bless you both as your journey to healing begins.
I'm very sorry. I am your neighbor Alex Ridgers classmate from school. He showed me a picture of Jonathan when he was little, or when he was first born. He was a very cute little boy, at least he is not in pain anymore. He is going to see my grandpa that just past away a couple of months ago.
